The Day of the Dentist

The dreaded tooth pain had been slowly creeping back leaving me in a bit of a state.  I know how quickly it goes from painful to excruciating so was pretty desperate to get something done to get me through the remainder of my travels.  God bless Google.  After farnackling about trying to find an English speaking doctor within cooee, I decided to try dentists instead and scored with the rather unorthodox approach of emailing a dental clinic near me asking if anyone spoke English and begging for antibiotics.  Luckily (bless Google Drive) I was able to attach a letter from my dentist explaining treatment to date.  I got an email back at 9pm saying to come in the next day at 10am.  I was so relieved as I had absolutely no backup plan.
I found my way to building number 1 of the correct street, noted a tiny label confirming Cordon dentists were within, and followed a couple of older dudes into the building.  Man those Spaniards give nothing away about who is where in their buildings.  This is the left and right view of both the first and second floors.  I just kept walking up until I discovered a door with signage betraying the fact dentists were within.  Long story, but Dentist Dreamy saw me, gave me drugs and I got to use my favourite Spanish word la carata (letter) - roll the R, it's superb - in a real sentence.

Feeling much better today and went back to take small Thank You. Indigenous design cushion cover by Cher'nee Sutton for D. Dreamy and kangaroo key ring for the receptionist.  I had intended the cushion cover for my BnB host but I've never met him and he gave me no drugs. I also left a bottle of wine, note and key ring for my saviour in next building 4B. I am quite the Glinda today.

Luckily Dreamy had already explained all the meds. I told the chemist I did not understand Spanish, however she explained each one in Spanish, ending with Si? And waiting on my confirmation Si, before explaining the next one. Mid way through one explanation she discovered it was the wrong medicine so went and changed it. I thought it wise to Google everything when I got home. Again, bless you Google - discovered one of them not suitable for asthmatics before taking.
